Project Cruz ("we", "us") runs the online store at projectcruz.com. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, who we share it with, and the rights you have. It is written to meet the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021), as Project Cruz is based in the UAE, as well as Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and the data protection laws of the other places we sell to.

What we collect

  • Contact details: your name, email, phone number, and shipping and billing addresses.
  • Order details: what you buy, order history, returns and refunds.
  • Payment details: payment method and confirmation. Card details are handled by our payment provider and are never stored by us.
  • Messages: what you send us by email, WhatsApp or our contact form.
  • Preferences: your language (Arabic or English) and whether you joined our email list.
  • Technical data: device, browser, IP address and how you use the site, collected through cookies (see below).

Why we use it

  • To process, ship and support your orders, including returns and refunds.
  • To reply to your messages.
  • To send you marketing emails, only if you signed up. You can unsubscribe at any time from the link in every email.
  • To communicate with you in your chosen language.
  • To prevent fraud and keep the store secure.
  • To meet our legal and tax obligations.

We rely on your consent for marketing emails and non-essential cookies, and on the need to fulfil your order and our legal obligations for everything else.

Who we share it with. We never sell your personal data. We share only what is needed with:

  • Shopify, which hosts our store.
  • Our payment providers, including Ziina, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
  • Delivery companies such as Aramex, DHL and Torod, to deliver your order or collect a return.
  • Authorities, when the law requires it.

Data stored outside the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Our store runs on Shopify, so your data is stored and processed on servers outside the UAE and Saudi Arabia, including in Canada, the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. We only use providers that protect data with appropriate safeguards, such as contractual protections, encryption and access controls, as required by UAE and Saudi data protection law. By placing an order or joining our email list, you understand your data will be transferred in this way.

How long we keep it. We keep order records for as long as the law requires for tax and accounting purposes. Email list data is kept until you unsubscribe. Other data is deleted or anonymised once it is no longer needed.

Cookies. We use essential cookies to make the store work, such as keeping items in your cart. With your consent, we may also use analytics and marketing cookies to understand how the site is used. You can change your choice at any time through the cookie banner or your browser settings.

Your rights. You have the right to:

  • Know how your data is used, as set out in this policy.
  • Get a copy of your data.
  • Correct data that is wrong or incomplete.
  • Ask us to delete your data, unless we must keep it by law.
  • Withdraw your consent at any time (for example by unsubscribing), or ask us to restrict or stop using your data where the law allows.

To use any of these rights, email hello@projectcruz.com. We reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the UAE Data Office, the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA), or the data protection authority where you live.

Security. We use secure, encrypted connections and limit access to your data to the people who need it. If a breach affects your data, we will notify you and the authorities as the law requires.

Children. Our store is not aimed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes. If we update this policy, we will post the new version here and change the date at the top.

يدير Project Cruz ("نحن") المتجر الإلكتروني على projectcruz.com. توضّح هذه السياسة البيانات الشخصية التي نجمعها، وسبب جمعها، ومع من نشاركها، والحقوق التي تملكها. وقد أُعدّت لتتوافق مع المرسوم بقانون اتحادي رقم 45 لسنة 2021 بشأن حماية البيانات الشخصية في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، حيث يقع مقرّ Project Cruz، ومع نظام حماية البيانات الشخصية في المملكة العربية السعودية، وأنظمة حماية البيانات في الدول الأخرى التي نبيع فيها.

البيانات التي نجمعها

  • بيانات التواصل: اسمك وبريدك الإلكتروني ورقم جوالك وعنوان الشحن والفوترة.
  • بيانات الطلب: ما تشتريه، وسجل طلباتك، والمرتجعات والمبالغ المستردة.
  • بيانات الدفع: وسيلة الدفع وتأكيده. تتولّى جهة الدفع بيانات البطاقة، ولا نخزّنها نحن أبداً.
  • الرسائل: ما ترسله إلينا عبر البريد الإلكتروني أو واتساب أو نموذج التواصل.
  • التفضيلات: لغتك (العربية أو الإنجليزية)، وما إذا كنت مشتركاً في قائمتنا البريدية.
  • البيانات التقنية: الجهاز والمتصفح وعنوان IP وطريقة استخدامك للموقع، وتُجمع عبر ملفات تعريف الارتباط (انظر أدناه).

لماذا نستخدمها

  • لتنفيذ طلباتك وشحنها ودعمها، بما في ذلك الإرجاع واسترداد المبالغ.
  • للرد على رسائلك.
  • لإرسال رسائل تسويقية عبر البريد الإلكتروني، فقط إذا اشتركت. يمكنك إلغاء الاشتراك في أي وقت من الرابط الموجود في كل رسالة.
  • للتواصل معك باللغة التي اخترتها.
  • لمنع الاحتيال والحفاظ على أمان المتجر.
  • للوفاء بالتزاماتنا النظامية والضريبية.

نعتمد على موافقتك في الرسائل التسويقية وملفات تعريف الارتباط غير الضرورية، وعلى الحاجة إلى تنفيذ طلبك والوفاء بالتزاماتنا النظامية في ما عدا ذلك.

مع من نشاركها. لا نبيع بياناتك الشخصية أبداً. نشارك ما يلزم فقط مع:

  • Shopify، التي تستضيف متجرنا.
  • جهات الدفع، ومنها Ziina وApple Pay وGoogle Pay.
  • شركات التوصيل مثل أرامكس وDHL وطرود، لتوصيل طلبك أو استلام المرتجع.
  • الجهات الرسمية، عندما يتطلب النظام ذلك.

تخزين البيانات خارج الإمارات والسعودية. يعمل متجرنا على منصة Shopify، لذلك تُخزَّن بياناتك وتُعالَج على خوادم خارج الإمارات العربية المتحدة والمملكة العربية السعودية، منها كندا والولايات المتحدة ودول أخرى يعمل فيها مزوّدو خدماتنا. نتعامل فقط مع مزوّدين يحمون البيانات بضمانات مناسبة، مثل الالتزامات التعاقدية والتشفير وضبط صلاحيات الوصول، وفق ما تتطلبه أنظمة حماية البيانات في الإمارات والسعودية. بإتمامك طلباً أو اشتراكك في قائمتنا البريدية، فإنك تعلم أن بياناتك ستُنقل على هذا النحو.

مدة الاحتفاظ. نحتفظ بسجلات الطلبات للمدة التي يتطلبها النظام لأغراض الضريبة والمحاسبة. ونحتفظ ببيانات القائمة البريدية حتى تلغي اشتراكك. أما البيانات الأخرى فنحذفها أو نجعلها مجهولة الهوية عندما لا نعود بحاجة إليها.

ملفات تعريف الارتباط. نستخدم ملفات تعريف ارتباط ضرورية لعمل المتجر، مثل حفظ المنتجات في سلة التسوق. وبموافقتك، قد نستخدم أيضاً ملفات للتحليل والتسويق لفهم طريقة استخدام الموقع. يمكنك تغيير اختيارك في أي وقت من شريط ملفات تعريف الارتباط أو من إعدادات المتصفح.

حقوقك. يحق لك:

  • معرفة كيفية استخدام بياناتك، كما توضّح هذه السياسة.
  • الحصول على نسخة من بياناتك.
  • تصحيح البيانات غير الصحيحة أو الناقصة.
  • طلب حذف بياناتك، ما لم يُلزمنا النظام بالاحتفاظ بها.
  • سحب موافقتك في أي وقت (مثلاً بإلغاء الاشتراك)، أو طلب تقييد معالجة بياناتك أو إيقافها في الحالات التي يسمح بها النظام.

لممارسة أيٍّ من هذه الحقوق، راسلنا على hello@projectcruz.com. نرد خلال 30 يوماً. وإن لم تكن راضياً عن ردّنا، يمكنك تقديم شكوى إلى مكتب الإمارات للبيانات، أو الهيئة السعودية للبيانات والذكاء الاصطناعي (سدايا)، أو جهة حماية البيانات في بلدك.

الأمان. نستخدم اتصالات آمنة ومشفّرة، ونقصر الوصول إلى بياناتك على من يحتاج إليها. وإذا تعرّضت بياناتك لأي اختراق، فسنُبلغك ونُبلغ الجهات المختصة وفق ما يتطلبه النظام.

الأطفال. متجرنا غير موجّه للأطفال دون 18 عاماً، ولا نجمع بياناتهم عن علم.

التعديلات. إذا حدّثنا هذه السياسة، فسننشر النسخة الجديدة هنا ونغيّر التاريخ في أعلاها.
